TEDx – Combat Science & Self Defense by Guruji Franklin Joseph
For a very long time, self-defense has been practised as an art form to protect oneself and others who are important to us. However, little is known about how much science impacts what we do. Combat Science expert Guruji Franklin Joseph explains the science of fighting and what we need know to be prepared for potentially dangerous scenarios.
Franklin Joseph, the CEO of the Indian Institute of Strategic Threat-Intelligence Analysis & Combat Tactical Science, is an expert in Combat Sciences and Safety Empowerment. His peers refer to him as Guruji and Dr. Safety. Mr. Joseph is amongst the select few who understand and acknowledge crime for what it is: a dynamic, constantly evolving scourge on society. He concluded that changing the answer into something adaptive was the only way to balance the crime.
His primary goal is to equip women with the resources they need to handle any obstacle they encounter, whether it arises at home or on the outside. He use psychological strategies to get inside the oppressor’s head and address them appropriately. This lecture was delivered at a TEDx event, which was freely planned by a local community and followed the style of the TED conference.
Self-defense has long been practised as an art form to protect oneself and those close to us, but we rarely recognize the significant influence science has on all we do. Our expert in combat science, Guruji Franklin Joseph explains the science of combat and what we need know to be prepared for potentially dangerous circumstances.
