What seems to plague cab companies' custome is the unavailability of cabs during peak hours, and trained personnel.
Franklin Joseph, CEO and Chief Instructor of Franklin Joseph Krav-Maga Self-Defence Academy, Bangalore, who offers women's safety workshops, says. "These initiatives only provide a psychological security to women, it's not real," he said. "Women should not depend on technologies as they do not guarantee mental calmness. They have to be self-confident and only then things change. They have to be alert, assertive and strongly verbal at all times."
